Field Kit #1 is here! The Chronic Life Observation Kit
A low-burden way to observe your health in context and notice patterns over time.
Cheers, y'all!
Field Kit #1 is officially here.
The Chronic Life Observation Kit is a free resource from The Chronic Worker designed to help you observe your health in context — without turning your life into one giant tracking project.
Subscribe to The Chronic Worker to access your Kit today!
The main tool is the Observation Log + Dashboard. That’s where you can capture what matters, build a record over time, and start noticing patterns across things like symptoms, sleep, workload, recovery, environment, and support.
And because some days opening a spreadsheet is already too much, there’s also an Observation Form — a simpler side door for getting an entry into your log.
The Weekly Reflection Companion gives you a way to step back and make sense of what you’ve been noticing without grading yourself or trying to reconstruct every detail.
You don’t need AI. You don’t need a wearable. You don’t need to track every day. And you definitely don’t need perfect data.
I work from bed and use my cane significantly more than I used to, but life is settling down as I adjust to a new reality of physical and mental chronic illness.
Cheers, y'all!
